Every band has a story. Ours starts with a 13-year-old musical phenom and three guys old enough to remember when CDs were cutting-edge technology.

🎤 Rylan — Lead Guitar & Vocals

Rylan is the engine of Brother Hazel. At 13 years old, he handles lead guitar and vocals with the confidence of someone who clearly practiced while the rest of us were watching college basketball. When he’s not melting faces with guitar solos, he’s reminding the rest of the band what key the song is in.

🎸 Nathan Day — Rhythm Guitar & Vocals

Nathan pulls double duty as Rylan’s dad and rhythm guitarist, which means he’s been hearing these songs in the house, the car, and probably through bedroom walls for years. A talented musician in his own right, Nathan brings strong rhythm, great vocals, and occasionally steps up to sing lead on a few songs in the set. His main job on stage, however, is trying to look like he’s still the one teaching Rylan a thing or two.

🎸 Jack Budny — Bass

Jack holds down the low end and keeps the whole band from completely falling apart. Bass players are the calm ones in every band, and Jack is no exception — quietly laying down the groove while the rest of us argue about what song to play next. Also worth mentioning: Jack is currently single, so if you’re coming to a show and happen to enjoy great bass lines and charming musicians… ladies, the bassist may be accepting applications.

🥁 Kevin Webb — Drums

Kevin provides the heartbeat of the band from behind the kit… despite the small detail that he hadn’t played drums in about 20 years before this whole thing started. Armed with muscle memory, determination, and occasional YouTube refreshers, Kevin is living proof that riding a bike and playing drums are basically the same thing — except louder and with more chances to miss a fill.

Together we are Brother Hazel — a Sister Hazel tribute band built on great songs, good laughs, and the ongoing effort of three grown men trying to keep up with a teenager.
